Yes, of course, I did. I went on the architecture tour. The guide took us around, and she gave us a lot of information about the Getty Center. I learned about materials which made its wall and floor outside. We saw LA downtown and the beach from the Getty. And, i learned the system of its lightning. They use computers and manipulate the roofs to let sunlight come in. I really like its well-designed architecture and sense of unity. Furthermore, I especially like pictures inside. The Getty has some famous artists' paintings like Gogh, Monet, Manet, ...etc. There're some pictures I've already seen, so I was so excited! And also, I really like the center garden and some sculptures! Overall, it was definitely a wonderful experience for me!!

Yesterday,I went to the Getty and I saw many things there. Especially, I was very interested in the portraits of the Getty. There was one portrait named "promenade" which is I have wanted to see . It is so beautiful that I keep watching so long time There are many crazy sculptures too,I also joined architecture tour in the Getty. The guide said the stones which are parts of the architectures are the same size.It is extremely unbelievable fact for me and I didn't notice it until she said it. The all experiences of the Getty were very valuable for me.

Yesterday I visited The Getty Center. I went on the garden tour. I learned that Getty loved natural sunlight and thought not only works but also gardens as arts. He tried to make a comfortable place on the hilltop so there were a lot of plants and their kinds are changing depend on 4 seasons. On the center of the garden, azaleas always bloom.

My favorite work is Irises painted by Vincent van Gogh. These irises were in the garden of the asylum at Saint-Remy, where Gogh was recuperating from a severe attack of mental illness. Seeing that, I felt some power and energy. It was so beautiful to be moved.

I went on the architecture tour. I learned how the buildings are made and the mechanism. It's formed by a lot of squares that are 30 * 30 inch. Also, this center has a machine that can control the ray of sun and it arranges the light for the portraits or landscape in the museum. My favorite parts of the Getty are the garden. When I saw this garden at the first time, I felt as if I were in the world of Alice. There were a lot of flowers or tree. Especially, I like  something like red flowers. After that, I got into the museum and looked at some portraits. They appeared to move even if not real, but they were so beautiful. If I have the next chance to visit there, I'd like to go!

I joined the garden tour in The Getty. The tour guide told us that we can see a lot of beautiful plants there. She said there are also many sculptures in the garden and they have interesting history. The garden smells very nice because there many kinds of plants, flowers and trees. Our tour had about 20 people and they are from various countries, for example, The USA, China or Japan. Also, there were a lot of visitors there and they were taking pictures, just walking or sitting and taking a rest there.

My favorite part of The Getty is the location which the museum is in. It located on the top of very high hill, so we used tram to get to the museum. It takes 5 or 10 minutes and we can see beautiful views from the vehicle. In the museum, we can find lots of works. My favorite one is "Portrait of a Young Man in a Red Cap". It was drawn by Pontormo. A young man stands confidently and he is not smiling. The color the painter used is very beautiful, so I like the portrait. There are also lots of works in The Getty besides the portrait. The museum is too large to look around with short time for me, but I want to see more works there.

I did not take part in the architecture tour so I was interested in it! I was surprised that lighting system is controlled by computers. To know this, I thought elaborated mechanism pleases people. I made sure that The Getty is one of the wonderful museums!

Hi, I'm Keita. The architecture tour was really meaningful, I think. We learned a lot of information from her, but it was little bit long. So I was tired after the tour. Then, we went inside of the Getty and saw some pictures and sculptures there. I was really happy cuz I could see some famous artists' paintings. Some sculptures were interesting and made me laugh. And the view from the Getty was also awesome, wasn't it!? I also wanna go there again!!

I attend architecture tour and I learned from it that most of tiles which use for building and road are 30 inches square. Additionally, those buildings are strong for fire to protect many arts.

I have some favorite points of The Getty. Firstly, its buildings are beautiful and contemporary. I think those are very cool. Secondary, its garden is beautiful. I could fell relax at there. Finally it has many famous artist's artwork. For example, Millet,  Manet, Gogh, Monet, Rodin, Cezanne, Giacometti, Rembrandt and Renoir. I like those artist, so I enjoyed very match.

Yesterday,I joined garden tour in Getty Center. I saw a lot of flowers and trees which are planted by Richard Meier. He planted many kinds of plantings and each plantings has meaning. For example, big green tree which in front of Getty museum is California pepper tree. It is so big and fresh green and it is to attract notice. I was attracted by this tree. Moreover, garden of Getty Center has a lot of colorful flowers, leaves and waterfall. Flowers color is yellow, purple, green. My favorite flower is pink small flower which is so cute and elegant. I learned from Getty Center's garden all of plantings have each meanings by Richard Meier. I viewed paintings which is so beautiful and attracted. My favorite painting is "Still Life with Flowers and Fruit" from Claude Monet. This painting is so gorgeous and sensitive. I think it looks like real. Other paintings are also sensitive and to feel profundity of paintings.

My favorite parts of Getty Center is big elegant garden, so we could see many plantings and rare color plantings. I was so happy to see these. If I could go there, I would like to see again. It was wonderful time for me.

I go on the garden tour. I found a lot of plants, trees, and flowers. For example, I can see colorful cacti, naked trees, and lawn. Tour guide said that the Getty garden has four water spot. I found water fall, stream, and cascade. I went to plaza, and I can see a maze like garden. It has many red flowers. It was my favorite place in the Getty. The people ware relaxing, many family and couples ware enjoying walking around the park. It was cloudy, so I can't watch the view well. That was unfortunate.

In the building of the Getty, I saw pictures. My favorite picture was "The Visitation". It was painted by Pontormo who is Italian In 1528-1529.  I can see four people in this picture. They were wearing colorful cloth. Two people ware looking forward me, and the others ware looking each other. I wanted to know what they did. The picture was so impressed.

I also went on the garden tour. So I agree with you! It was so nice and we saw many beautiful plants. As he made the museum so comfortable place, I want to visit and see the garden of different seasons!
